  2. This is jon bon jovi's soundtrack album or songs inspired by blaze of glory plus the title track. This is country rock and is superb. Jon's always been a cowboy and the lyric theme suits him. This amazingly doesn't have the usual jovi sound but still rocks. Considering this was released in it still sounds fresh and has dated really well/5().

Given his cowboy songs on Bon Jovi albums, it made sense that he'd be "inspired" by the Western, and he filled these songs (written without the help of bandmate Richie Sambora or hired hack Desmond Child) with references to shoot-'em-ups.5/

  6. Blaze of Glory is Jon Bon Jovi's debut solo studio album, released August 7, It includes songs from and inspired by the movie Young Guns II. Emilio Estevez asked for Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead or Alive" as the theme song for his upcoming Billy the Kid sequel, but Jon Bon Jovi ended up composing an all-new theme song for the film's soundtrack instead. The album featured guests such as Elton John, Missing: Hard Rock Calling.
